Personalized License Plates

I got a letter yesterday from the deparment of revenue informing me that my personalized license plates are available to be picked up at the local license office. I ended up getting my fifth choice out of six. While I'm pleased that one of my choices was available, I have no way of knowing if the first four were already taken, restricted or otherwise deemed inapropriate. It would be nice if there were some way to know why one option was granted vs. another. So I'm off to see the wizard and get my new plates; RSPNDR. This will look good on the Project Responder emergency vehicle. It's a lot better than 602-789 or whatever stupid number is on there now.
